Despite trying times, various failures and victories we managed to see the light through the bleak dawn and shine through rust colored skies. We have now finished tracking at Volume 11 Studios in Raleigh, and the CD is currently making its way across the ocean for mastering at the Cutting Room in Sweden! January 20, 2006: 'Pre-Production' Soulpreacher have entered Shadowlore Studios to begin the pre-production process for an upcoming full-length album. More details about the as-yet-untitled CD will be made available soon.

December 19, 2005: 'New Years Eve Bash' Soulpreacher will be appearing with Confessor, Daylight Dies, Dreamscapes of the Perverse, Jonin and more on December 31 2005 at the new Tavern 11. This is the grand opening for what promises to be a killer new rock club in Raleigh. It will be another great night of metal to rock in the New Year! Septmeber 9, 2005: 'Confessor CD Release Show' Soulpreacher will be performing with Confessor and Alabama Thunderpussy on Sept 17 2005 at the Lincoln Theatre. This is the CD release show and party, celebrating the release of Confessor's new CD 'Unraveled'. Film crews will be on hand to shoot footage for a music video! June 3, 2005: 'Writing New Material' Not much news to announce except that we have been busy writing new material. We hope to enter the studio within the next few months to record our yet untitled full length. Meanwhile, we are trying to find a label to work with for this release. More news will follow soon. April 15, 2005 : 'Soulpreacher on WKNC' Soulpreacher will be on WKNC 88.1 tonight (11pm) during Lucretia's Chainsaw Rock show! March 29, 2005 : 'Halloween in April' The upcoming event on April 16, 2005 has been confirmed! Along with Soulpreacher, Blister, and The Oxygen Thieves, there will be a movie premiere for the independent Zombie flick "Second Death". From TarHeelFilms.com: Second Death was shot on location in Sanford North Carolina, and stars local actors and actresses including zombie appearances from the band Soulpreacher. It tells the tale of six unlucky souls trapped in a creepy old house. And of course there are zombies, lots of zombies, and gore, as much as you can pack into a short 10–15 minute movie. In addition to the premier of Second Death, Soulpreacher and Blister (from the movie soundtrack) will be performing, as well as The Oxygen Thieves. People are encouraged to dress in full Halloween gear. Prizes will be given for best costumes (especially zombies). The cast and crew of Second Death will be available for discussion and autographs.
